Wind and Weather

I rarely win anything.  But recently I was a fifth-place winner in the Englewood Review of Books' "back to school" contest.  I won two books by the agrarian horticulturalist, botanist, & poet, Liberty Hyde Bailey.  Victory, indeed, is sweet!

If you haven't paid the folks at the ERB a visit, I suggest you do so as soon as possible.  Check out their website here.

And now enjoy the poem (which is also the title of one of the books I won) Wind and Weather:

Passengers on the cosmic sea
We know not whence or whither,
'Tis happiness enough to be
Complete with wind and weather.

~ Liberty Hyde Bailey
